Where are they from? Lemon Tetras originate from the Amazon River basin in South America, specifically from Brazil and Peru.

How many can I keep? They are shoaling fish and should be kept in groups of at least 6 individuals to ensure their well-being. Larger groups of 10 or more will create a more natural and visually appealing display.

How compatible are they with other fish? Lemon Tetras are generally peaceful and can coexist with a wide range of community fish. They are compatible with other small, peaceful species such as tetras, rasboras, and smaller catfish.

What are the ideal water conditions? Lemon Tetras prefer slightly acidic to neutral water conditions. A temperature range of 72-79°F (22-26°C) and a pH level of 6.0-7.5 are suitable for their well-being.
