What is its maximum size? Bronze Cory can grow up to 2.5-3 inches (6.3-7.6 cm) in length.

Where are they from? They are native to South America, specifically the basins of the Amazon and Orinoco rivers.

How many can I keep? Bronze Cory are social fish and should be kept in groups of at least 6 individuals to thrive.

How compatible are they with other fish? Bronze Cory are peaceful and compatible with a wide range of fish species. They can coexist well with other peaceful community fish that prefer similar water conditions.

What are the ideal water conditions? They prefer soft to moderately hard water with a pH range of 6.0-7.5. The temperature should be kept between 72-79°F (22-26°C). Providing a well-maintained and properly filtered aquarium is crucial for their well-being. The Bronze Corys that are for sale have been climatized to our local water conditions.

How do you tell the difference between Male and female? Male corydoras tend to have a slimmer and more streamlined body compared to females. Additionally, females are typically larger and broader-bodied, especially when they are carrying eggs.

Fun Fact: Bronze Cory have a fascinating behaviour known as “dancing.” They perform a dance-like movement in which they rapidly wiggle their bodies and fins. This behaviour is believed to be a form of communication and social interaction among the fish.
