How hard are they to keep? Danio choprai, or Glowlight Danios, are considered relatively easy to keep. They are suitable for beginner fishkeepers.

What is its maximum size? Glowlight Danios typically reach a maximum size of around 1.5 inches (3.8 cm).

Where are they from? They are native to Myanmar (Burma) and are found in small, slow-flowing streams and marshy areas.

How many can I keep? Glowlight Danios are shoaling fish and should be kept in groups of at least 6 individuals. The more you have, the more comfortable and confident they will feel.

How compatible are they with other fish? Glowlight Danios are peaceful fish and generally get along well with other small, peaceful community fish. They can be kept with other Danio species, Tetras, Rasboras, and other small non-aggressive species.

What are the ideal water conditions? They prefer a temperature range of 72-78°F (22-26°C) and a pH level between 6.5-7.5. Clean, well-filtered water with regular water changes is important for their health. The Glowlight Danios that are for sale have all been climatized to our local water conditions.

How do you tell the difference between Male and female? Male Glowlight Danios are typically slimmer and more brightly coloured than females. Females are slightly rounder and have a more subdued coloration, especially in the abdominal area.
