How many can I keep? You can keep multiple Sunset Gourami’s in the same tank, preferably in pairs or small groups. A minimum group size of 3-4 individuals is recommended to prevent aggression and ensure social interaction.

How compatible are they with other fish? Sunset gourami’s are generally peaceful and can coexist with other peaceful community fish. However, they may show territorial behaviour, particularly towards other Sunset Gourami’s of the same gender, during breeding or if crowded.

What are the ideal water conditions? They prefer slightly acidic to neutral water with a pH range of 6.0-7.5. The water temperature should be maintained between 77-82°F (25-28°C). Providing them with ample vegetation, hiding spots, and gentle filtration will create a suitable environment for them.
