Where are they from?

Black Rosie Barbs are native to Southeast Asia, particularly in Myanmar (formerly Burma).Ours at Friendly Fish Aquatics are bred for us in Sinapoor in Fish Farms.

How many Should I keep?

They are schooling fish, so it is recommended to keep them in groups of at least 6 individuals. However, if you have a larger tank, you can keep more Black Rosie Barbs together.

How compatible are they with other fish?

Black Rosie Barbs are generally peaceful and can be kept with other peaceful community fish. However, they can be fin nippers, so long-finned or slow-swimming fish should be avoided.

Ideal Water Condtions ?

The ideal water conditions for Black Rosie Barbs include a temperature range of 72-77°F (22-25°C), pH level between 6.0-7.5, and slightly soft to  hard water.These Fish have all  been bred in hard Water.
