How many can I keep? Pristella tetras are schooling fish, so it is recommended to keep them in groups of at least six individuals. Larger groups are preferable to allow for natural schooling behavior.

How compatible are they with other fish? Pristella tetras are generally peaceful and can be kept in community aquariums with other small, peaceful fish. They are known to be compatible with other tetra species, guppies, danios, and similar fish.

What are the ideal water conditions? Pristella tetras prefer slightly acidic to neutral water with a pH range of 6.5-7.5.
