What is its maximum size? Skunk Corydoras typically reach a maximum size of around 2.5 inches (6.4 cm) in length.

Where are they from? Skunk Corydoras originate from South America, specifically found in the upper Amazon River basin in Peru and Colombia.

How many can I keep? These fish are social creatures, and it’s recommended to keep them in groups of at least six individuals. Keeping them in a group helps reduce stress and encourages natural behaviors.

How compatible are they with other fish? Skunk Corydoras are generally peaceful and can coexist with a variety of community fish. They are compatible with other non-aggressive species that share similar water parameter requirements.

What are the ideal water conditions? Maintaining stable water conditions is crucial for Skunk Corydoras. They thrive in slightly acidic to neutral water with a pH range of 6.0 to 7.5. The temperature should be kept between 72°F to 78°F (22°C to 26°C). Provide a well-filtered tank with plenty of hiding spots and soft substrate. How do you tell the difference between male and female? Distinguishing between male and female Skunk Corydoras can be challenging.
